Adorned with an adorable goat on the label; don’t let it fool you! La Chamoise beers are full of flavour and character, and brewed without the use of additives or preservatives. The only ingredients are water, malts, hops and yeasts and they are neither pasteurised or filtered. In fact, the deposit to be found at the bottom of the bottle contains natural yeasts which guarantee that the beer is conserved; ensuring that it is undeniably sophisticated and delicious when it finds you.

Brasserie Du Quercob

Brasserie Du Quercorb (or BDQ) are a slick operation, marketing themselves as “Bière Artisanale de Luxe”, brewing small batches of the tastiest craft beers to an incredibly high standard. Based in picturesque Puivert in rural southern France, BDQ offer natural beers; unfiltered, unpasteurised and rich in flavour. Their traditional recipes are brewed with carefully selected ingredients and a
deep respect for tradition, but taste fresh and contemporary.

Award-winning, great-tasting beer from the south of France, BDQ beers are completely free of animal products. We really liked Soubrette, a West Coast IPA with an intense hoppy aroma and an avalanche of flavours (and great with a curry), although we found every one of their beers to be highly enjoyable, and easy to pair with food. BDQ is craft beer for the sophisticated!

This is a philosophy we can get behind, and founder Jack and his team work tirelessly from their state-of-

We really like the boldness of their beers, which we found to be loaded with big, powerful hops to mirror the mountains of the Chamonix valley where they are created. This is underpinned with some really subtle and sophisticated aromas and depth of flavour that make Big Mountain brews a pleasure to drink. Their beers are as refreshing as their focus on sustainable brewing, and we can see why Big Mountain Brewing Co. have become such a hit in bars all around The Alps!

We can really get behind La Superbe’s obsession with quality and perfection, especially because their beers are masterpieces. Brasserie Du Grand Paris

In September, 2016, founders Anthony and Fabrice left their jobs and moved to St Denis to bring together 5 beautiful years of experience in learning how to brew great beer. Founded on a French-American friendship and mutual love for craft beer, their Dionysian adventure has taken ‘Les Brasseurs Du Grand Paris’ to brewing award winning craft beer that is full of flavour and
character.

Their principles are simple: brew excellent beer that they like to drink themselves, with a focus on
style rather than colour, and generous lashings of high quality hops. Among our favourites are Citra Galactique IPA; with explosive notes of citrus and tropical fruit, and Nice to Meet You; a joyful, hoppy Double IPA which contains five varieties of hops! Brasserie Du Grand Paris are at the top of their game and its easy to see why they are conquering Parisian tap houses.

Brasserie La Parisienne

Jean Barthélémy Chancel’s heritage is actually in the wine making industry in the Rhone Valley, where his is the owner of esteemed Champagne Louis Barthélémy. He picked up a passion for craft beer whilst travelling abroad, and in 2011, he became one of the first brewers on the scene in Paris to brew crafts. When he founded La Parisienne in 2014, the vision was to share his passion for craft beer with Parisians so that they can have their own beer.

It soon became apparent that this beer was too good to just keep in Paris, and La Parisienne have made great waves in the French scene with a cool perennial collection; Blanche, Blonde, Rousse and Brune (only in Paris would you find beers named after ladies hair colours!) Their seasonal range is more adventurous and features crafts which range from easy drinking, to the most complex and rich. La Parisienne takes you on a journey through Paris with flavoursome, high quality beers that will leave you wanting to book a Eurostar!

Galibier

One of the highest breweries in Europe. Yes, Brice (former professional Snowboarder for Team France by the way, Cocorico!) founded the brewery at an altitude of 1450m, where calm and serenity reigns supreme. It’s in this atmosphere of pure air that the recipes are created, with water coming straight down from the glaciers. And it’s this mighty alpine quietness that allows them to concentrate on the exceptional quality of their drinks.

Brewing in respect of the Reinheistgabot (German laws of purity for beers since the 16th Century), the ingredients, hops, wheat, barley and custom made yeasts are carefully selected to preserve the original flavours of their beers. Share a Galibier, take long deep whiff and let yourself drift down the snowy slope. We especially love Dread Yo Mama, an old school Double IPA with some serious kick!
